CO₂ reduction
ON THE WAY TO EMISSION-FREE, CLIMATE-NEUTRAL PRODUCTION
CO2 Reduction
The goal of the IoT
Manager is to digitally network machines. This allows data from the
monitored via a central software.
Data can also be exported to higher-level systems and databases.
The approach includes the consideration of all relevant perspectives of production:

Today's challenges include CO2 reduction. Osterwalder electric presses contribute over the life cycle of a press - especially in production operation - to reducing CO2-emissions by 70% compared to modern hydraulic presses.
In particular, the two CO2-intensive stages in the life cycle of a press - operation and maintenance - Osterwalder has focused its CO2 reduction and structurally reduced emissions. This was achieved mainly through the development of the servo-electric multi-plate presses OPP and already enables our customers to meet the increasing requirements for sustainability and to make a contribution to sustainable environmental and climate protection.
