Carbide is a composite material consisting of a hard material and a very tough binder metal. This material is particularly hard, has a high wear resistance and a high hot hardness. It is used wherever tools or components are exposed to high wear stress, for example when machining hard materials. The carbide improves the quality of tools and parts, extends their service life and ensures reliable processes.

Products made from metal powders are opening up more and more areas of application. Many industries can no longer be imagined without them. In automotive engineering, they are playing an increasingly important role. Pressed parts are becoming more complex, more intricate and should be produced without further post-processing wherever possible.
