WE HAVE YOUR SOLUTION

Industries

We offer an extremely wide portfolio of powder presses, for the most diverse requirements. We are leaders and set the standards in the following industries. SWISS Made - SWISS PRESS.

Carbide is a composite material consisting of a hard material and a very tough binder metal. This material is particularly hard, has a high wear resistance and a high hot hardness. It is used wherever tools or components are exposed to high wear stress, for example when machining hard materials. The carbide improves the quality of tools and parts, extends their service life and ensures reliable processes.

Products made from metal powders are opening up more and more areas of application. Many industries can no longer be imagined without them. In automotive engineering, they are playing an increasingly important role. Pressed parts are becoming more complex, more intricate and should be produced without further post-processing wherever possible. As a result, massive savings are possible and contribute to significant cost optimization of the products.

Apart from carbide and iron powder, there is an enormously large variance and variety of special materials for which our presses are applicable. These include magnetic materials, for example. These are used in a variety of ways in the automotive industry, in equipment and mechanical engineering, in the electrical and electronics industry, and in medical technology.

CARBIDE

Special materials Industries

Pressing. For the really tough.

Carbide

We were the first press manufacturer worldwide to place High Performance Electropress technology on the market. This new technology has set new standards in terms of net-shape presses and has given our customers a clear quality and cost advantage for their products. Based on discussions with our customers, we have decided to manufacture press cells again, one operating concept, one program, one contact partner - "everything from one source".

We offer solutions from the smallest part with 0.1 g up to parts of 1.5 kg, with pressing forces from 0.1 to 200 tons. With production-proven special accessories, very complex shapes, threads, helixes, etc. can be produced in small or large series with process reliability.

Osterwalder products lead the way, achieving precision and durability that is second to none, plus they offer you the features for your parts of tomorrow.

IRON POWDER

Complex shapes. Simply solved.

Iron powder

Osterwalder offers the customer our electric multi-plate presses with press forces up to 500 t a future-oriented solution for an optimal and cost-efficient production of these parts. We pay special attention to the simplicity of operation and programming, thus increasing the reproducibility of the parts to the highest degree. And this with machine-supported intelligence to provide optimum support for the "human factor".

For a safe and fast change of production, we go new ways, which are also space-saving and mean lower investments.
